I DREAMED...

I dreamed I went to heaven and stood by the crystal sea.
I spoke with the angels as they greeted me.
Then, I saw a man walking toward me with arms open wide.
"Is that you, Jesus?" I cried.

"Yes, it is I," he said with a smile.
"for you have walked your very last mile."
Then, I rejoiced for great was my reward.
I watched the angels as they sang in one accord.

Then, Jesus called me to his side.
And told me that forever with him I would abide.
"welcome home my child, he said peacefully."
"For you are here with me through all eternity."

THE LORD'S RETURN

The Lord's return is oh, so very soon.
It could be morning, night or noon.
He will descend from heaven on a cloud.
When Gabriel's trumpet blows very loud.

The dead in Christ shall rise first.
For their graves will burst.
Then, those who shall remain,
Will be changed in the twinkling of an eye.
As they meet the Lord in the sky.

We shall be caught up with him in the air.
Headed for a land so bright and fair.

Yes, we will rise to the sky.
As we tell this world good-bye.

We shall see our loved ones who have gone on before.
When we meet on heaven's golden shore.
Oh, what a day that will be.
When we are with the Lord through all eternity.

THE JUDGMENT DAY

To the throne, I make my way.

Oh, how I have waited for this judgment day.

I wait patiently as he opens the book.

And at my life, takes a look.

Then, he says well done.

Your new life has just begun.
