GUARDIAN ANGELS

Guardian Angels are all around,
Even though we may not see them.
They protect us, even though we may not see them.
They know what we say, what we do,
What we face, they know that too.
Looking down upon us with heavenly smiles,
They watch us as we go one more mile.

MAMA'S OLD BIBLE

I remember mama's old Bible oh, so very well,
Only time well tell.
The Lord would take away my fear and strife,
As those Bible stories came to life.

Mama would read from the Bible every day and night,
And she let me that everything would be alright.
She would tuck me into bed and kiss me goodnight,
Say a little prayer and then turn out the light.

Jesus is here, she would say,
But, tomorrow is another day.
Mama's gone on, but, her memory lingers on.
Oh, how I love mama's old Bible.

MY HEALING PRAYER

Thank you Lord, for giving me the strength,
As I go from day to day.
To build my faith along the way.
I will hold onto your promise,
For you do not lie.
I know these short days will pass on by.

In my faith, let me be strong,
For I know it won't be long.
Though the devil may come and try to destroy me,
In your name he will have to flee.

You healed the lame back then,
I know you will do it again.
Lord, please, keep hold of my hand,
And give me the strength to help me stand.

Thank you for hearing my prayer.

NO ROOM FOR JESUS

The world has room for it's own wants and pleasures,
But, no room for Jesus.
The world has room for wild parties, drugs and all kinds of sin,
But, no room for Jesus.
Schools have room for textbooks, evolution and numerous theories,
But, no room for Jesus.
Churches have room for "feel good" services and "tickle the ear" sermons,
But, no room for Jesus.
The rich have room for luxurious homes, fancy cars and all that money can buy,
But, no room for Jesus.

The world has room for everything, but, Jesus.
If you choose to have no room for Jesus, he will have no room for you.
