Dottie Rambo was and is one of the greatest

she has penned over 2500
great songs, including, We Shall Behold Him,
He Looked Beyond My Faults And Saw My Need and I Go To The
Rock, which Whitney Houston performed in the movie, "The Preacher's Wife."
In
1994, the Country
Christian Music Association named her Songwriter of the Century.
In the
1960's, Dottie, her
husband Buck and their daughter Reba, traveled together
as "The Singing Rambos."
On mother's Day, May 11th,
Dottie died in a bus accident, which took place
in the early morning hours , just outside of Mount Vernon, Missouri. She
was
on her way to a Mother's Day Show in Texas when the accident took place.
